During the visit, the Executive Secretary outlined the strategic operational values of PTDF in advancing human capacity development in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
He highlighted the Fund’s notable achievements over the years, particularly focusing on the establishment of the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies Kaduna (CPESK). He emphasized that CPESK is not just an infrastructural investment but a critical national asset dedicated to equipping Nigerians with specialized skills needed to drive growth, innovation, and competitiveness in the oil and gas industry.
According to the Executive Secretary, “CPESK is a Private Post-Graduate institution which stands as a symbol of PTDF’s commitment to bridging the skills gap in the energy sector by providing world-class training opportunities for youths and professionals across Nigeria.”
In his response, Governor Uba Sani commended the PTDF for its visionary initiatives and the progress made so far on the CPESK project.

He acknowledged the critical role the College will play in empowering young Nigerians and promoting inclusive economic development, not only within Kaduna State but across the country.
The Governor also took the opportunity to highlight some of the key achievements of his administration, including investments in education, infrastructure, and youth development, which he noted align with PTDF’s objectives.
