The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is leading a high-level Nigerian delegation on an ongoing engagement with the German Academic Exchange Service, focused on strengthening partnerships for human capital development in energy, research, and innovation.
The Executive Secretary of PTDF, Prof. Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu, though unavoidably absent, is ably represented by the General Manager, Education and Training, Hajia Rabi’ah Waziri Adamu, who leads the delegation at this engagement.
Also part of the delegation are key stakeholders from Nigeria’s education and research ecosystem, including the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arch. Sunday Echono; the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu; and the Secretary General, Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities, Prof. Haruna. Their presence further reflects a coordinated national approach to strengthening education, research, and innovation linkages.
As part of the ongoing visit, the delegation is also engaging with the Nigerian Embassy in Berlin to strengthen collaboration in supporting Nigerian scholars and enhancing their academic experience in Germany.
The engagement underscores PTDF’s commitment to building global partnerships, advancing scholarship frameworks, and driving sustainable capacity development for Nigeria’s energy sector.
