The Executive Secretary of PTDF, Dr. Bello Aliyu Gusau has been reappointed by President Muhammadu Buhari, for another 4-year term.
The announcement, which was made by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on the 25th of September, 2020, stated that his reappointment was based on the recommendation of the Honourable Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva in recognition of his visionary leadership of the Fund.
Dr. Bello Aliyu Gusau’s visionary leadership has been premised on seven strategic priorities with very impressive results to show for it and Mr. President’s reappointment is a vote of confidence for him to continue his reforms and deliver more achievements on the Fund’s mandate.
Dr. Bello Aliyu Gusau was appointed for his first four-year term on the 26th of September, 2016 and his reappointment for a new term is with immediate effect.
Also reappointed for another tenure are Engineer Simbi Wabote Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), and Mr. Ahmed Bobboi Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF)
